Braille Library Cards
Our IT department can produce custom-printed Braille cards using the library's 3D printer. They are made of biodegradable plastic and measure 1.5" x 4". A Braille card is available to anyone eligible for a Bethlehem Public Library card. It provides access to the entire collection, including large-print books, audiobooks, ereaders and ebooks. Bring a photo I.D. and proof of current residence to the circulation desk; we can issue your card within a few days. If you already have a Bethlehem Public Library card, we can print a Braille version using your current library card number. Call 439-9314 for more information.

Study Hall @ the library
In January, the community room is available to high school students studying for Regents exams; check the schedule (pdf).

Spotlight online
We've added a new feature to our website for local history researchers and others. Our obituary index is now linked to corresponding issues of the Spotlight, and in most cases, to the correct page. All available issues of the Spotlight, 1955-2011, are accessible from our local history page. In another development, all can now be searched simultaneously.

The Spotlight digitization project was generously underwritten by the Friends of Bethlehem Public Library.

Tech help
If you have questions about your new smart phone, tablet or eReader, adult services librarians can help. Call 439-9314 ext. 3009 or visit the information desk to schedule an appointment. Our staff can also help you navigate social media and software; just ask us.
