 teen volunteer opportunities - summer(grades 6-12) |

We need 150 volunteers to help us run our Summer Reading Program. Applications (pdf) will be accepted from May 1 until June 8 or until all positions are filled, whichever comes first. Our teen summer volunteers help in the following ways: Book Buddies葉eens read one-on-one with kids. Book Reviewer葉eens read at least 3 soon-to-be-published or newly published books, write a review for each, and participate in one filmed book talk. Desk Assistant葉eens register children for the reading program, assist children with their reading logs and prizes, and help keep the youth services area in order. Program Assistant葉eens help out at a variety of programs. Story Reader葉eens read stories to children and more. |
