Board votes to make some changes to BCN-TV

The library’s Board of Trustees voted in late 2017, to begin transitioning BCN-TV studio services to a self-production model. Consumer-grade A/V equipment would be made available for public use following training. The channel will continue to broadcast local public access content. Check back updates and additional information.

BCN-TV goes digital

BCN-TV is exclusively digital. If you have an analog television, you may need a digital adapter to receive it. Adapters are available from Time-Warner by visiting or calling Time-Warner customer service at (855) 286-1736. Library staff are available to answer your questions and help direct you to BCN-TV. Call (518) 439-9314 for assistance.

BCN-TV productions range from 30-second public service announcements to long-running series. Shows span a wide range of topics – public affairs and poetry, religion and relationships, music and medicine, education and environment. Local school and town board meetings are also cablecast, and a community calendar is run daily.
