Our sewing machines are put to good use when we host one of our many sewing programs for teens, including a Project Runway design challenge, Teen SEWcial events and more! We also have all sort of crafty programs for creative teens.

Bullet Journal 101

Bring a journal or notebook and see how easy and fun it can be to get organized through bullet journaling. If you already keep a bullet journal, you’re invited to share your insight and experience.

Craft and Sip
Friday, January 24 • 3:30 p.m.
Relax after midterms as you sip on some juice and use the library’s craft materials to create friendship bracelets, fuse bead art and more.

No-Sew Sock Bunnies

A fun bunny craft to give you the warm fuzzies. Register each participant individually.

Teen SEWcial: Pajama Pants
Monday, February 17 • 6 p.m. Sign up here.
Learn how to use a sewing machine and read a pattern to make some cozy pajama pants. Bring 2.5 yards of fleece or flannel. Other supplies provided. For grades 6-12.

Essential Oil Accessories
Wednesday, February 19 • 2 p.m. Sign up here.
Learn about the properties of a variety of essential oils and make an infused wooden bead necklace or bracelet. For ages 9 and up.

Sew It Yourself: Soup Bowl Cozies
Monday, February 24 • 6 p.m. Sign up here.
Protect hands and furniture with a soup bowl cozy that’s cute and functional. Bring two 10-inch squares of cotton fabric.

Decorate a Shopping Bag
Wednesday, February 26 • 7 p.m.
Prepare for the state ban on single-use plastic bags by customizing a re-usable shopping tote. We will provide the bag and fabric paint.
