Make a Splash--Read!
Signup is ongoing for the 2010 NYS Summer Reading Program at Bethlehem Public Library. We offer three levels: preschool (age 3-4), school age (grade K-5) and teens (grade 6 and up), with prizes, programs, activities and special events for all! Preschoolers should sign up at the youth services desk; grades K-5 and grades 6-12 can sign up online or at the desk. Read all about it in the July/August issue of footnotes (pdf).

Learn a language online
The library now offers MANGO--an interactive language-learning system that's easy and fun to use. Mango offers basic conversation courses in 22 languages, as well as basic ESL instruction in 14 languages. Try Mango at the library or at home; all you need is a valid Bethlehem Public Library card.

What's new in "What's New"
Our What's New page has a new look. Clickable book-cover icons link directly to the library catalog. All your favorite new-items lists are still there, but the links are more browsable. You'll also find a link to our ongoing book blog. Take a look!

Historic Bethlehem web page
Historic photographs, family names and local history files, a directory of area cemeteries, and more can be found right here.
