Meet Donald Westlake
Donald Westlake, master of the comic mystery, will read from his book, What’s So Funny, at Bethlehem Public Library Sunday April 6 at 2pm. The book is the latest in his Dortmunder series. A Q&A, reception and book signing will follow the reading; copies of his books will be available for sale
The author of over 80 novels, Mr. Westlake is a Grand Master of the Mystery Writers of America and a three-time Edgar winner. His screenplay for The Grifters was nominated for an Academy Award. His numerous honors also include the 2002 Ian McLellan Hunter Award for Lifetime Achievement from the Writers Guild of America and the 2004 Private Eye Writers of America Award for Lifetime Achievement.
The event is free, but tickets are required. Tickets will be available to Bethlehem Central School District residents (2 per adult) beginning Sunday March 30, 1-5pm in the library lobby.
